Seattle's The Shiners have broken up, but we're leaving the website up indefinitely so we can keep folks informed of upcoming recordings and so folks can continue to check out Charles' songs. If you're looking for the still-touring Virginia band of the same name, go here.


The Shiners are a band based in Seattle, WA. At various times, we've been called "roots country," "honky tonk," "western swing," "country blues," "alt.country," "bluegrass," and even "rockabilly." We can't label us either, but we can definitely say this.
